I've popped plenty of LAVs with an HMG, it's just about impossible to kill one solo if it has full health though. That's why I usually carry standard AV nades.

I don't know if I count, I've only been using it about a week. I got sick of so many maps having open area where my HMG is useless, and I just couldn't bring myself to equip a light weapon on my Sentinel. I run a SCR/LR combo.
